I would wager that it was either a nudist magazine (some of which were functionally advertisement for nudist camps) or a gay porn magazine (perhaps one of the crypto ones that posed as “nude art photography” mags). But I don’t know.

Thanks for your observations re the hairy horseman.The ‘gay’ magazine tie-in was my original guess (you’d think the gay fraternity would be drawn naturally to big,strong,horses) but the rider’s ’60s runaway hair,in my opinion,would turn off the gay brigade.I go with the ‘nudist’ angle,then.
