Donkey Dick In The Bible
Never let them tell you the Bible doesn’t have dirty bits! I just stumbled across this passage in an old Usenet .sig:
She was infatuated with their male prostitutes, whose members were like those of donkeys and whose seed came in floods like that of stallions. — Ezekiel 23:20
That translation is a bit more poetic than the KJV, but if you play with the various translations available at that link, you’ll see that it’s as accurate as any.

The verse reads in the Vulgata:
et insanivit libidine super concubitu eorum quorum carnes sunt ut carnes asinorum et sicut fluxus equorum fluxus eorum
I buy the donkey member and stallion cum part, but I’m a bit sceptical about the first part. “She became mad with desire for sex with those, …” would be a more precise translation, I think. “concubitus” just means sex here, not used in the sense of the modern word “concubine”. A male prostitute would be “paelex” or “scortum”.
Anyways, good find!
Thanks, Andreas!
Of course, he said mischievously, if the Vulgata is (as Wikipedia suggests) a fifth century translation from Hebrew sources, we really need us a rabbi to drop in and opine upon the verse…
That is very interesting, and freaking hilarious all at the same time.
Yes it is “Vulgata” translation on the Hebrew sources, and what Andreas said is correctly based on those sources.
You should give a look at the Septuagint version and then search on the Hebrew sources…
