That is the cutest thing I have seen for a long time and has far-reaching metaphorical implications, but I must first get over my bad impression re: the French grammar. “Fornication” is feminine: that is, it should read “Prélude de la Fornication”, or, as M pointed rightly out, “Interlude…” This may be splitting hairs, but that, too, can be fun, depending on where the hairs are. The French, again, have a better word for this well-meaning pedantry that translates to “fly bugger” (“enculeur de mouches”), which at a distance probably looks like a fornicative prelude anyway. La, la, la la la…
Hmmmm…. I agree “prelude” is somewhat inaccurate. I would think that this is truly the main “movement”!. This “piece” sure made me laugh. Thanks Aphrodite!
