Should Have Tried The Cola Douche
Spotted at Jezebel:
The National Enquirer is reporting that Jamie Lynn Spears is with child again because she thought she couldn’t get pregnant while breast feeding. This is from the National Enquirer, so proverbial grain of salt, but they were right about that Edwards thing…
And we still have people in this country who think there’s too much sex education?

Apparently so! If I understood what I heard on TV last night correctly, one major political party’s vice presidential candidate is upset because the OTHER major party’s presidential candidate supports teaching very young children how NOT to become victims of child molestation.
Yeah, that’s how I understood that exchange also.
By the way, I would have said it was impossible to mention one of the recent debates in a way (namely, devoid of explicit partisan preference or candidate names) that would get through moderation here. Well done!
The Enquirer had a few lawsuits that were *big* awhile back, so they’ve been checking their facts better (like the Edwards thing). I wouldn’t be surprised by this at all . . .
I thought Dr. Pepper/Saran Wrap was the majik eliksir??

And since when, exactly, did lactation NOT hinder conception? It’s not foolproof, but it certainly worked for an awful lot of mothers throughout history, who otherwise would have been pregnant every year.
“Hinder conception” is NOT the same as “couldn’t get pregnant.”
Wikipedia has details for the curious.
coke Does explode sperm (the scientist who proved that won an Ignoble prize), but I’m betting you’d need some pretty convoluted positioning to get the liquid into the same spot as your target, not to mention the prostate fluid helping protect the sperm from the hostile environment inside the vagina. I reckon once the sperm is past the cervix, there’s no chance a can of coke is going to do anything other than give you a caffeine hit :D
