Ahoy Mateys, Beware The Cockberg
Who could possibly want global warming when it might mean the end of the cockbergs? Or…..maybe this is proof the abominable snowman is real….he fought with a yeti and the yeti obviously got the best of him.
There’s gotta be a way to rig that so that it would periodically shoot “a load”…..any engineers in the audience?

Float a few of those into the Gulf of Aden and those Somali pirate-boys will run like the wind! ;-)
LMAO!
Why does it look kinda blue?
Greg, glacier ice is very dense and often looks blue under certain light conditions. I’m told the reason has much in common with the reason the sky is often blue.
….and they say that nine tenths of it is below the waterline!
to make it shoot a “load” may be quite difficult, and likely cost- prohibitive. but, if i were to do it i’d first drill (or, rather, augur) a urethra into it all the way through to the bottom. next, i’d either directly pipe it to a pump (pump! ah, engineering is filled with fun ambiguous terms like pump, nipple, orifice, etc.) that takes suction from the surrounding water or put a small tank with a vent to atmosphere through the urethra and attach the pump to the bottom of the tank. i’d probably power the pump via a motor with a solar power electrical supply. a timer would give you the “periodic” spurt (or you could use a single-acting reciprocating pump).
maybe my description was overkill, but we geeky [female] engineers like to play, too :-P
WOW imagine how much bigger it would be if the weather were warm and didn’t have the shrinkage factor!
But remember–it’s made out of ice! Warm weather IS the shrinkage factor! ;)
I always wondered how the Titanic’s hull was penetrated so easily . . .
D, Now that was funny
Yall are just TOO funny!
Is that why every one wants to join the navy?
The ice looks blue and we made it through 11 comments without somebody mentioning “blue balls” What is this world coming to?
