After seeing the various examples that you’ve posted recently, I had to see more of this guy’s work. It seems as his full name was Thomas Leycester Poulton, and he was a medical illustrator. Personally, I think he was more artist than illustrator, judging from the sensitivity of some of his sketch lines, such as the superb example you’ve shown above. In fact, his work reminds me a bit of Edgar Degas:

I found this ( http://www.tasc...4.jpg ), as an example of what was called his typical work of “…women proudly and exuberantly displaying themselves…” and “…images of joyous, uninhibited sexuality that transcends time and place.”

Oh my, I do have a thing for wearing gloves; just putting on my leather opera length ones is like Wonder Woman doing her thing..but in reverse. I go from virago to acquiescent instantly.
