Robert Mitchum And A Lady
Never let it be said that Robert Mitchum didn’t know how to enjoy life:
I don’t recognize the lady, though — at least not from this angle. Anybody?

Simon Sylvia , Canne Film Fest , long ago, there are a couple other shots of the two.
I’ve heard of this shot. Mitchum was at the Canne Festival, and this unknown actress stripped and hugged him to drum up some publicity for herslf. According to IMDB, she came to a sad end.

I believe that should be Simone Silva.
By the way, you can find the original pictures on google, but don’t confuse the topless actress with this lady:

..unless you know something I don’t.
According to IMDB, her measurements were 39-24-35, at 5’3¾” (1.62 m).
Quite right about the removed link. Thanx.

more pictures, very good site
As the image came straight from my blog (albeit with cropping), with the lady named as Simone Sylva, I’m surprised you ask who she is.
No, it didn’t. If it had, you’d have gotten a link credit, as you did here.
In fact I found the image on a Tumblr site that is chock-full of uncredited stuff, so much of it that I couldn’t bear to give a link credit to that particular source.
As much as I hate lack of attribution on the internet, I despise even more the assumption that images do not travel. Not everyone that has an image you posted, saw it first on your blog.
A bit strong, but I get your point.
Well, if it was strong, I’m sorry. But I spend half my blogging life working on attribution, trying to get it right, tearing my hair out because other people didn’t bother, and trying to do my best. So it chafes to be accused of pulling something “straight from” one of the blogs on my blog roll without attribution. I don’t do that, and I’d have thought that the people who know my work would know by now that I don’t do that.
I stand corrected.
