Handles For Me, But Not For Thee
I laughed outrageously upon seeing a certain complaint left in the review of a file of ancient public domain porn movies at the Internet Archive. It seems that “johnthegaymer” was aggrieved that the camera operator for a nine minute silent porn film back in 1915 (111 years ago!) allowed himself to be credited as “Will B. Hard” instead of using his real name.

well he has a credit on imdb
Early porn, beautiful, I love it!
In big Hollywood productions like this, the director plays the most important role. And in this case, it’s A. Wise Guy.
Bacchus, I need your advice.
I read that the Spanking Minnesota blog has shut down due to threats from Google.
I have several (23 actually) adult blogs and get harassed by emails from Google on a regular basis, and a few times they have unpublished some of my posts.
I feel that the pornocalypse you’ve warned all of us about is coming soon.
What would you suggest as an adult-content-friendly hosting service? (I realize I will need to start paying, but sooner or later, nothing is free.)
Hey, Old School Fan. Sorry you’re having trouble with Google. They haven’t been adult-friendly for a dozen years or more. You’re wise to want to get away from them.
I have been using Mojohost since 2004. That’s a long time. They’ve never given me a lick of trouble about my adult content. Some of their biggest customers are large porn companies and they are committed to supporting adult business. They have lawyers who are ready to defend them for having adult-industry customers and they aren’t scared. I recommend them unreservedly.
However that means I don’t know anything about anybody else to recommend. I never had to look at anybody else. Lots of places say they are adult-friendly until they very suddenly aren’t. That hasn’t ever happened at Mojohost.
They also have excellent service and support. I got hacked here on ErosBlog last month — entirely my own fault, I didn’t keep my WordPress setup properly updated — and they got me restored from yesterday’s automated backup within a few hours. Totally painless. Couldn’t ask for more or better.
The downside is that they aren’t the cheapest out there. They aren’t cheap at all. Anybody seeing this: please join my Patreon to help support ErosBlog! But I honestly can’t imagine hosting adult sites anywhere else. I don’t even like thinking about it.
Ok, thanks for the tip!
