This is not the first fanciful sex machine illustration that ErosBlog has published. I do not expect that it shall be the last:
This one comes from German porn magazine Pleasure (#40, June 1981). Unusually, there’s a companion device for men, prefiguring the motorized-Fleshlight-with-VR-attachment concept by 35 years or so. But to see self-cleaning features built into these early dreams of automatic sexual technology is beyond unusual. In fact, it’s so rare, I think I can safely say I’ve never seen it before:

I’ve been looking at this pulp cover art, and looking at it again, and there’s just something about it I cannot figure out. Under what circumstances does a lady (well, any woman actually) lounge abed with no top on … but wearing heeled slippers? Does that actually happen?
The artwork is from the cover of Gangster Story: Al Capone and on the full cover you can see that her picturesque lounging has been interrupted by a gun-pointing cop, who might or might not have been the man she was artfully posed and waiting for.
