Sexy Lists Of 2010I was going to do at least one Best of 2010 list today. And I still might. But today is starting to feel like a goof-off day. There is cheap sweet bubbly in my refrigerator and it is calling to me. Fortunately, no worries. Other people — media-savvy people who are industrious enough to string more than three links together in a single blog post, unlike me, who am grown bone lazy — have been making flashy sexy 2010 retrospective lists like mad. And Violet Blue has rounded them all up for your convenience. Yippie kai yai, em effers! (Er, she’s rounded up the lists. Not, so far as I know, the industrious people who made the lists. Just to be clear.) December 30th, 2010 -- by Bacchus
Knife Play And Alcohol Don’t MixThey thought it would be fun and sexy to cut each others’ undies off. With a knife. After several adult beverages. It didn’t end so well:

The High Priests Of WordPressI’m getting pissed at the apparent technical arrogance of the WordPress core developers. First, the disclaimers. WordPress is a miracle product, that embodies everything that is wonderful about open source software. It lets ignoramuses like me do amazing things without understanding dick. To accomplish that, it needs technological high priests who keep the code base in order and moving forward. I get that, I appreciate that, on a daily basis I am glad those people exist. And yet, motherfuckers: if you expect me to upgrade my software three times in less than one month, you have got to tell me why. You have got to tell me why it’s important, and you have got to do this in English words that a non-technical user can understand. Or I am going to start bitching and cursing your name.
