This looks like something I’d expect to find over at Dr. Faustus’s chambers of Erotic Mad Science, but according to Flying Cat where I actually found it, it’s an illustration from a 1925 French magazine:

I’ve got know way of knowing how fanciful it might be, but it looks very much like a full luxury salon treatment in progress. I wonder if miracle electric breast toning zap treatments were actually being sold to the finest Parisian ladies in 1925?

Psychedelic Smurf Borrowers

I found this illustration in a bizarre 60s-feeling graphic novel by Georges Pichard called Les Manufacturées. It’s like The Smurfs meet The Borrowers, only on acid. There’s this little brightly colored biker gang, see, only they get captured and kept in a shoe box…

In the panel right after this one, this pervy dude’s wife catches him trying to give the tiny biker chick a bath she does not want, and literally kicks his ass into (not literally) next Wednesday.
