Clicky The Linky
I’ve known for years that people very often don’t click on or follow my links. I mean, some do, but by the stats, it’s a tiny minority.
Which means some of you may not know that links on ErosBlog sometimes lead to Easter egg bonus content. Little prizes that are not heralded by the anchor texts. Extra images, bigger images, images with more detail or context. You just never know unless you click.
As they used to say a long time ago: Verbum sapienti sat est.

ok, I’ll rise to the bait 😈
On behalf of your readers
you do occasionally link to something that cannot be unseen 😱
I’d give examples but it hasn’t happened for a while. And my ‘therapist’ has trained me into not clicking on anything with goatse in it…
To be fair you usually put something in the text to warn those of us who aren’t wise enough to leave links alone. 😂
Then we have your affiliate links vanished by adblocker. Which prompted me to look through the source of the post above, searching for the link.
You taunt us with a post about not following links to get easter eggs, and then don’t reward us with a tasty link to an easter egg? Cruel, cruel Bacchus.
😀😝
Ok, I confess, I’m in wicked mood, and pulling your leg. I do tend to follow your links, and they are generally well worth it. Not least because of all the sites on the interweb, you are the only one I’ve ever come across who tries to keep old links and content alive. For which much kudos and respect.
‘Nuff said!
You know my thoughts on adblockers; as they say in the justice system of people jailed for refusing to testify, “the prisoner holds the keys in his own hand.”
As for Easter eggs, there was one in the previous post. It’s not an every-post thing! ;-)
Sadly there are currently almost a thousand broken links in my link-checking tool. I fix them, half a dozen at a time, late at night when I’m too drunk to do anything else useful…
But you do fix them, and you care. For which we appreciate you.
