More Blowjobs
Jody Pipes has a question about blowjobs, and an answer, too:
Whenever has a woman said “I started giving my man more blowjobs and it totally ruined our relationship?”
Never. Never has that happened ever in the history of society. There are really only upsides to doing this.

Counterpoint:
Man received plentiful blowjobs, never reciprocates.
Advice columnist Dan Savage used to have an acronym for situations like that: DTMFA, short for Dump The Motherfucker Already, because oral sex is standard equipment in a relationship.
Anyway the way I took Pipes’s point, she’s saying more blowjobs never makes things worse in a relationship, and I do suppose the strong further inference we are supposed to take is that her scheme is likely to make things better between a couple, which strikes me as a likely outcome in a general relationship sense. Whether it can solve a specific relationship problem (like “motherfucker won’t reciprocate”) is obviously going to be a case-by-case inquiry where results will vary. I’d imagine that a happier and more satisfied man might be more open to discussion, negotiation, even a gentle ultimatum perhaps. But if at the end of the day he’s not? Dan Savage would say DTMFA! But I am not the advice columnist he is.
Going down on her has never been a duty.
It is my #1 favorite sexual activity; I had to end a couple of incipient relationships where it was clear that she would only ever be letting my eat her out as a favor because she just wasn’t into it.
One of my favorite memories is the relationship I had in college with a woman who got off on giving blowjobs and who enjoyed the reciprocal immensely; it was our default activity when we weren’t sleeping or eating or in class.
I know, fuzzy, right? More than twenty years ago I wrote “When I’ve got that lovely girl scent all over my face and chin and so forth, I can’t bring myself to wash my face. I’ll walk around all day, catching hints of that smell at unexpected moments and grinning like a fool every time.” That’s how much I love it, and I don’t understand men who feel different.
