My Kind Of Roughnecks

Four Happy Girls, StrippingIt’s lesbian party time at Explicite Art, and the girls are happy to get naked for it:

The Virtual ContortionistAt first and second glance, this bit of computer art seems a little bit pointless. The whole point in looking at a photo (or live performance) of a contortionist is to marvel at his or her flexibility. A CG artwork of a very flexible girl doesn’t really carry the same emotional message; we already know that digital persons are infinitely flexible and extremely durable. So what’s the value of this?
However, if you’re a man and you’re honest, you’ll recognize a standard response when you see a pic or a video of a flexi woman curling her ankles behind her neck. “That would be a lot more spectacular if she were naked, and ten times more so if she were naked in my bedroom…” Take that a step further, and if you’re also kinky? Then it’s “if only those ankles were tied like that! My own girlfriend might be willing in spirit, but I shouldn’t bend her like that for reals because her orthopedist would chide her about the unfortunate consequences…” And now we come to the point of this computer graphics exercise. The picture above, it turns out, is only an establishing shot. In most of the image set, our flexible digital artifact is also extremely tied up:

Men On EdgeBecause I’m not so good at keeping up with developments in gay porn, I’ve been slow to mention the latest offering from Kink Men: a site/channel called Men on Edge, in which men tie up other men, flog them, and do other cruel things, typically culminating in painful-looking brink-of-orgasm situations not swiftly resolved. P.S. Uhm, about that particular cruel thing close-up, with the Hitachi-style vibrator right on the tip of his penis? When I see porn where that’s being done to a woman’s clitoris, I’m of course totally cool with it, though I’m not immune to that little bit of sympathy most of us have for a willing submissive in an intense scene. But hey, guess what? When I see much the same thing being done to the sensitive head of a penis, I get a visceral sympathy reaction of the sort men get when other men are kicked in the balls: I want to cup myself protectively and cringe and tell myself reassuring stories about how that’s never going to happen to me. Is there maybe somewhere I can go, where I could get my comfortably-gendered S&M double standards back, plz kay thx bye? Similar Sex Blogging: May 27th, 2012 -- by Bacchus
Is It Bunny Girl Season Already?OK, memory quiz time. Who here is left in the sex blogging community who remembers back in 2003 when the entire mainstream press and much of the blogosphere went into a meltdown shit-frenzy over a clever viral marketing campaign for a softporn video called Hunting For Bambi? Women running around naked in the desert being shot at with paint-ball guns, and the viral hook was to present it, falsely, as if it were an ongoing misogynistic “sport” that men could go and pay to participate in, rather than as the one-off staged fetish event with paid performers (to make the porny video) that it actually appears to have been. Pretty much everybody took the bait, the hook, the line, and the sinker. (Yeah, me too. I was still a noob.) Of course the marketing for the video was also deliberately and painfully misogynistic. “Men Hunting Naked Women. It’s About Fuck’n Time!” was just one of the slogans. And so, inevitably, there was much clucking and much waggling the Public Finger of Disapproval. Times change. Time marches on. We (slowly) get over ourselves. These days, if you try to do the same kind of girl-hunting thing as pure porn, with bunny girls pretending to be scared and female “hunters” with fake guns, you’ll be lucky if anybody even notices. Just ask Action Girls, because they did it: Similar Sex Blogging: May 26th, 2012 -- by Bacchus
