The Sex Blog Of Record
April 29th, 2005 -- by Bacchus
I can’t stop posting these old vintage sex photos. Every time I look at alt. binaries. pictures. erotica. vintage (“Just for a moment” is what I always tell myself) I find something I have to share, like this:
Although this picture makes me wonder. If you were the man in this picture, would you really prefer that the “extra” woman hold your leg up in the air? Surely there are more erotic services she could be performing at that moment.

It takes only the most minimal exposure to Japanese porn to understand that the Japanese sexual culture is very unusual to non-Japanese eyes. You may not understand much else, but you’ll understand that much very quickly.
Other little hints present themselves from time to time. Example: Japanese Kids Are Perverted. Excerpt:
Let me introduce you to a game Japanese kids like to play called “Kancho.”
Actually, it’s not so much a “game” as it is kids clasping their hands together, sticking out their first fingers, and shoving them up your butt. I’m really not joking.
You know, before we come to Japan, they tell us a lot of ultimately useless stuff. What kind of computer to bring, if our DVD’s will work, clothing sizes, that kind of nonsense. Nowhere, and I mean nowhere, in the 3-4 months of orientations did anyone ever mention that at some point, a Japanese kid may try to stick their fingers up our butt. That’s something I would have liked to know, personally.
It’s called Kancho, and just about any kid can be a Kancho Assassin. Even the sweetest little girl may be prone to jam her fingers up your ass the second you turn around. This happened to one of my friends, which just goes to show – don’t trust anyone. I’d say the little girls are the most dangerous cause they have natural ways of lowering your defenses.

I’m still not fully functional on my new computer, but that’s not why I’m not posting here more regularly. Monday afternoon I got a call from R (remember R and me?) that’s knocked me sideways. So instead of visiting fun sites I’m hanging around Love is a Cunt. Even this gorgeous photo, sent to me by a wonderful friend, makes me think more of sadness and pain than beauty and wonder:
This compressed, smaller version doesn’t do justice to the unmanipulated image that was a Photo.Net Photograph of the Week.
I’ll be back when I have something more fitting to offer.

Here’s the end of a funny tale from a couple of club bouncers who catch someone having fun beside the parking garage:
Sure enough, our friend Anthony had been caught midstroke, rubbing one out behind the wheel of his friend’s car while waiting for the rest of his group to come out of the club.
“Holy Christ is this guy a fucking idiot,” I said, rapping on the window with my flashlight. “Hey! You okay in there, dude?”
Without missing a ‘beat,’ Anthony, his eyes remaining closed and his right hand still hard at work, gave me the thumbs-up with his left.
“Guess so.”

Today I needed to take a long ride on a city bus to retrieve my vehicle from my mechanics. When the bus stopped in front of the local high school just after 8:00 AM, it quickly became clear that scholastics were not a priority on this sunny spring morning, as a horde of teen girls got aboard talking animatedly about their planned day at the mall.
The bus being crowded, we were all pressed in pretty close. The following conversation and events took place about eighteen inches in front of my face:
Girl #1: “Do you want a drink?” (offers 20 ounce Coke bottle)
Girl #2: “Sure!” (takes bottle, opens, stuffs it deep in her mouth so her lips are on the shoulders of the bottle, and begins swigging long and hard, glug glug glug glug.)
Girl #1: “Geeze, Fellatia, don’t get so excited, it’s only a rum and coke!”
Normally I’m unmoved by what passes for witty teen sarcasm, but I thought “Fellatia” was funny.

Here’s an old painting of an even older sort of transaction:
The image comes from here, with the breathless caption: “A 19th century painting crudely depicts the power of wealth and dominion.” Me, I see more dominion in that outstretched palm than I do in the guy with his pecker out.
2013 Update: fixed the broken link and upsized the tiny art that was here.

Okay, I read through the article explaining the inspiration behind this artwork several times, and I still don’t get it….but the images are nice!
This is a palette for a baby grand (and baby, ain’t it grand! ) penis piano, a work in progress by Cynthia Karella. It sounds like it’s supposed to address fear of the penis:
Why do we find such a lack of aesthetic qualities of the penis? The penis’s refusal to submit to conventions of uniformity, this is why a climate of fear surrounds it. Karalla attempts to dissipate the fear we have which is not innate, but one that has been manufactured and put into us, a system of control.
 Penis fear? [Paging Dr. Freud….paging Dr. Freud….] A lack of aesthetic qualities? Doesn’t sound like any of our friends. But, the article is apparently translated from Italian, so it might not be too accurate. From the Baby Grand Piano page, where you can also find more smallish but interesting penis photos.
