Lesbian Ceremony Of Roses
I am not entirely sure what sort of naked lesbian shenanigans we are supposed to be looking at here, but there are plenty of roses involved and everybody seems delighted:
Artwork is from the cover of a French novel (“Le roman complet“) from the Collection Galouis, titled Statue De Chair (something like “Statue of Flesh”). There’s an artist signature lower left, possibly “Maurias”, but I can’t make it out with any certainty.

I could not find more details regarding the artist (Maurias?), but this book was published in 1934.
Hmmm…
An anagram of the word samurai?
(To me, the cursive looks more like Maurias…)
Yeah Whiplash, I agree, that “a” is pretty clear. I think I typoed that one, so I’ve changed the post text.
